The Story
Here’s the story:
I started a blog three years ago called “See Elle Think” as a personal blog to document my thoughts and travel exploration through the Land of Social Media. (seeellethink.blogspot.com) This was named after the historic See Spot Run idea, and turned into a theme, unexpectedly. Only a few weeks/ days later, I started another blog called “See Elle Learn” to document specifically my Professional Journey with Social Media. This was intended for mostly reflection on the professional use of blogging and it’s successes/ failures. It was a good start. (seeellelearn.blogspot.com)
Unfortunately:
I closed them both. They were good while they lasted, but they were from my college-years, and I wanted to turn a new page, if you will. I wanted something new. Something I hadn’t ventured onto yet. So I moved blog servers and began using Wordpress. I heard awesome things about it, and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Thus was birthed See Elle Grow:
A blog about my post-graduate life. (seeellegrow.wordpress.com) It’s my current blog, and I’ve found it both therapeutic and encouraging for my blogging habits, or lack thereof. I’m still trying. I’ve divided it into three main categories: Things I’ve Learned, Things I’ve Discovered, and Things I’ve Thought. Each of these categories represent a different area of my life: Things I’ve Learned is focused on personal achievement and enlightening (mostly spiritual), Things I’ve Discovered is intended for thoughts on my professional journey into a career I have no idea how to create, and Things I’ve Thought is dedicated to daily mumble-jumble aka “stuff”.
Then came See Elle Fancy:
I chose this name because fancy means “to form a conception of; to form a picture in the mind’s eye.” I hope that these pictures give you a glance into my daily life… and I fancy it.
That brings us to this:
The photoblog is intended to document my daily experiences, but I am interested to see how it turns out. I believe that there’s no reason to produce something if it does not provoke thought in your audience/ readers. Therefore, I intended to upload some pictures that may or may not provoke thought and opinion. I PROMISE to maintain my integrity as a professional in my area and a youth leader in my church… all of these pictures will be G-Rated. However, they may beg your thoughts occasionally… and I hope they do.
